Michael Hick, Managing Director
Michael Hick has had a 50 year international entrepreneurial career, building, running, merging and selling businesses throughout the world. The first 25 years were with firms at Lloyd’s of London transacting day to day business in over 60 countries, building and managing 16 successful companies on three continents. During the last 25 years Michael has built, owned and co-owned an international Consultancy group, an Executive Education enterprise, two national Managing General Agency groups, a Reinsurance Intermediary and a Bermuda based Captive Insurance Company. He sold his interests in the financial service companies to a major international public company and he now currently serves as Managing Director of the advisory firm LITMUS Consulting based in Houston, Texas. Mr. Hick is Founder and Director of Global Business Initiatives a world-connected consulting company which has engineered the turnaround of overseas subsidiaries of Fortune 1000 companies, negotiated numerous mergers and acquisitions and refinanced and management-retooled a number of growing technology, financial services and energy related companies.
